First passage to Falmouth

Here is a clip of the lovely weather we had on the way down to Falmouth!

Still in Falmouth (in the rain still) waiting for a weather window. It looks good for Wednesday and Thursday but gales are forcast in all areas for Friday. That would be when we will be down in the lower part of the Bay of Biscay. So we may amend the plan and go down to somewhere in the area of Brest then wait there for a weather window to make for Spain after the gales have gone through.

Keith wondering which way to go after a few Guiness! Me taking notes for..... not sure really, and Phil, Nick and Pete enjoying themselves.

  1. Hey thats great youve started a blog, now we can keep an eye on you! Bad start with the engine and electric problems and some bas**td stealing your battery.
Can only get better from here on! Hope you don't drink Falmouth dry while you wait for the gales to go away.
I'm off on my 2 weeks sailing to the West Country this Friday, it better stop raining!

  2. Brilliant that you've started the blog - great reading - been a bit of an uphill start but who said it was going to be plain sailing! Really sorry to hear about the battery - won't do them any good in the long run - great believer in Karma! Hope the weather finally breaks and you manage to get out of Falmouth - although you all look very happy!

Will be setting watch daily for updates!

  5. Hi You Two, You didn't really think you could sail to Falmouth wearing bikinis did you ?? Only just found the blog. Brilliant idea !! You seem to have a lot of support back here. Not sure it will help half way across biscay !!!. Keep your sails trimmed, and fair winds, Colin (DSA)

  8. Hello to you both, You are doing so well with the blog. I'm only just beginning find my way around it, but I shall crack it before you return. Pics and Vids are great and I'm so glad you've got your selves some sun. It certainly beats the trip to Seaview in VK, Keith. I've rather dropped away from the DSA but a chance Email from Mitch says a new guy is getting things together again. I'll drop round to PS sometime and see what I can gather. Keep up the good work on the blog and remember it's the lows that make the highs seem so high.

Watch that fores'l. I'm sure you could head up a shade. Cheers Colin (DSA )
